Precautions For Using Stainless Steel Elbows

Date: | Read: 62

What are the precautions for using Stainless Steel Weld Elbow? Zhitong will introduce them to you below.

1. When using ball valves, stop valves, and gate valves with stainless steel elbows, they can only be fully opened or fully closed. They are not allowed to be used to adjust the flow rate to prevent erosion of the sealing surface and accelerated wear. There is a reverse sealing device in the gate valve and the upper threaded stop valve. The handwheel is rotated to the upper position and tightened to prevent the medium from leaking from the packing.

2. Stainless steel elbows generally refer to elbows with a diameter of more than 100 mm. Large-diameter elbows include large-diameter straight seam elbows, large-diameter seamless elbows, and butt-welded elbows. Butt-welded elbows are mostly used in the market. In addition to raw materials, equipment and technology, straight seams and seamless elbows are more expensive in terms of large diameters. Large-diameter elbows can be divided into large-diameter elbows of degrees according to angles, including large-diameter elbows of degrees and 180-degree large-diameter elbows and elbows of other different angles.

3. Stainless steel elbows need to be checked regularly after a period of use. The exposed processing surface should be kept clean and free of dirt. They should be neatly stored in a ventilated and dry place indoors. Stacking or outdoor storage is strictly prohibited. Stainless steel elbows should always be kept dry and ventilated, clean and tidy, and stored in the correct storage method.
