Introduction to the tensile strength of Stainless Steel Weld Fittings:

The number of layers of stainless steel pipe fittings and felt can effectively improve the tensile strength of the lining material. Reinforced fibers can be used for polyester, polypropylene or glass fiber. The hose used in the in-situ curing method must meet the following requirements: The hose should have a single layer or multiple layers of polyester fiber felt or materials with equal effects, which should be able to be impregnated with resin and not react with the resin, and the stainless steel pipe fittings can withstand the construction tension, pressure and curing temperature. The outer surface of the hose should be covered with a layer of non-permeable transparent plastic film compatible with the resin used.

When the hose is made of multiple layers of felt, the joints between the layers must be staggered and cannot be overlapped. The joint connection must be strong. The transverse and longitudinal tensile strength of the hose and the joint shall be tested according to the requirements of "GB/T3923.1-2013) Tensile Effect of Textile Fabrics Part 1: Determination of Breaking Strength and Breaking Elongation of Stainless Steel Pipe Fittings (Strip Method)" (GB/T3923.1-2013), and both shall not be less than 5MPa.

The fiberglass reinforced hose should consist of two layers of resin-impregnated hose made of corrosion-resistant glass fiber, the inner surface should be a polyester felt layer, and the outer surface should be a single layer or multiple layers of styrene-resistant and opaque film. The hose should be able to stretch with sufficient flexibility and have a certain toughness. When the inner lining is turned over, it should be able to adapt to the slight change of the local diameter of the pipe to be repaired. Its size should be larger than the size of the pipe to be repaired. The size of the hose diameter should ensure that it can fit tightly against the inner wall of the old pipe after curing.
